- What is check in/check out time?
- Check in time is at 3:00 PM and check out time is at 12 noon.
- Do you allow smoking on property? In the rooms?
- The hotel is non-smoking however we do provide a relaxing area in our Outdoor Living Room for guests to smoke
- How much do you charge for high speed/wifi internet access?
- Complimentary high-speed wired and wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel, to Kimpton InTouch Guest Loyalty members
- Do you have high-speed wired and/or wireless internet access available?
- Wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel and high-speed wired internet access is available in all guestrooms.
- Do you have a fitness center? What kind of equipment does it have? What are the hours?
- Our fitness center is located on the second floor, and has 24 hour access with your room key. We have several LifeFitness treadmills, two LifeFitness elliptical machines, a LifeFitness stationary bike, free-weights, and a wall mounted weight unit. The hotel is conveniently located near several outdoor running paths as well, please see the concierge for a map.
- Do you offer room service? What are the hours?
- Room service is provided 24 hours, with a limited menu available overnight between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am.
- Do you have a business center?
- Our business center is located on the 2nd floor, and has 24 hour access with your room key. We have two computers which run both Windows and Mac operating systems, and a color printer.
- Do you have a pool?
- Our pool is located on the second floor, and is accessible daily from 6am-10pm. The pool is heated during the winter months for guests to enjoy.
- Do you have a spa? What are the hours?
- We are pleased to have the award winning exhale spa located adjacent to the hotel with hotel access on both the first and second floor. Appointments can be made by calling 214.370.5800 or by visiting the Web site.
Transportation/Directions
- How do I get to the hotel?
- Directions to the hotel can be found on our Maps & Directions page.
- Do you offer free shuttle service from the airport?
- We do not offer complimentary shuttle service from the airport. Viable options include SuperShuttle, local taxis, and private limo services. Please contact the hotel's concierge if you would like to make advanced reservations.
- What are your cross streets?
- We are located on the SE corner of East Mockingbird lane and the Central Expressway (Hwy. 75) access road
- Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?
- Valet parking is available at a rate of $20 a night + tax, with free in and out privileges, and $10 a day flat rate. Hybrid cars park for free. The valet charge is not included in the room rate and self parking is not available on property.
Reservations
- How do I view my reservation?

- Will your rooms allow rollaways/cribs/playards? Is there a charge?
- Most of our rooms allow rollaways/cribs/playards. Several of our deluxe room types are not large enough to enable a rollaway bed.
- I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?
- You would need to contact the third party channel through which you made your reservation.
- What is the minimum age requirement to check in to the room?
- You must be 18 years of age, with a valid ID. Guests who are younger then 21 years of age will have all alcoholic beverages will be removed from the honor bar at time of check in.
- What is your cancellation/deposit policy?
- We require a credit card at the time of booking to secure your reservation. You must cancel your reservation by 6pm the day prior to avoid a cancellation fee of one nights room and tax. Please note that for special rates, seasons and packages, this policy is subject to change. Upon check-in, the hotel will hold an amount equal to room and tax for the entire length of stay, plus $100 for each evening. These charges will be released from your account within 5 business days of checking out. For this reason, the hotel does not recommend using your debit card upon check-in.
- Is my ID/passport required at check in?
- A valid ID is required at check in.
- What age do kids stay for free?
- Kids 17 and under stay for free when traveling with an adult.
- Do you have connecting rooms?
- The hotel does offer connecting rooms which can be requested at time of reservation, however we cannot guarantee the request will be available during your stay.
- Do you have ADA rooms?
- The hotel offers ADA rooms. Several rooms offer roll in showers and wider doors. A shower chair can be requested before arrival. Please contact the hotel directly to guarantee an ADA room.
- Do you have an early departure fee?
- The hotel's early departure fee is $125.
Restaurant
- What are the hours of the restaurant/bar/lounge?
- Central 214 is open for breakfast during Monday - Friday at 6:30 am (all hours are stated in CST), and for brunch on Saturday & Sunday at 8:30 am. Lunch is served Monday - Friday between the hours of 11:30 am and 2:30 pm. Dinner is served every evening starting at 5 pm. The bar hours vary, however generally they close at 1:30 m on Friday and Saturday. For more details www.central214.com
Accounting
- I have questions about my bill. Who do I call?
- Please contact the hotel's accounting department directly by calling 214.520.7969.
- What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?
- The hotel accepts all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We also accept Diners club and Carte Blanche. Upon check-in, the hotel will hold a full night's room and tax, plus a $100 deposit for incidentals each night. These charges will be released from your account within 5 business days of checking out. For this reason, the hotel does not recommend using your debit card upon check-in. We do not accept checks. The charges may be paid for in cash only at check out, we do not accept cash deposits.
Pets
- Are pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height or types?
- Hotel Palomar is pet friendly and does not require a size or weight restriction. Guests with pets are required to fill out a waiver at check in, however an additional deposit is not required.
- Do you have pet free rooms for those with allergies?
- We have a designated pet friendly floor and use non-allergenic, organic cleaning supplies to reduce allergies.
- Do you have pet sitting or dog walking services?
- Please contact our Concierge for pet walking and dog sitter services.
- How far do you have to walk to take your pet out?
- There is a grassy area with a clean-up bag dispenser located at the southeast corner of the property.
